Bio:
Tiara Johnson is an experienced communications specialist and strategist with a focused passion for the intersection of multicultural communications and health and wellness.
Johnson has previously worked for organizations including the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, where she blended her educational knowledge with her diverse perspectives to develop strategic communication plans that helped to educate and engage multicultural audiences in an authentic way. She has also fused her relationship building and communication skills to interview various leaders and advocates throughout the mental health and wellness industry.
In 2021, Johnson published “Living with 2020 Vision: The Mental Health Awakening in the Black Community.” The book examines how compounding events of 2020 impacted the mental health of the Black community. Since then, she has used her public speaking skills as a guest speaker and panelist to discuss the importance of mental health education in underrepresented communities.
