Step One – Take the foreign language and the mathematics placement exams by Monday, May 15, 2023. These will open on Monday, May 8, 2023.
Notes about Placement Exams:
All incoming students should take the foreign language and mathematics placement exams, even if you have AP/IB/College credits that may transfer.
Do not stress! No prior knowledge or experience is needed to take these exams. Do NOT study!
The placement exams ask some basic questions for SU to guage where your proficiency level is in a specific foreign language or math class. These will be used to determine your starting point for these classes.
