About Communications Internships
Internships are vital when it comes to finding a job at graduation. Internships help students gain valuable professional skills needed to be successful in the field, but helps them determine if the industry they chose is the right fit. Newhouse students graduate with an average of 3-4 internships. The Career Development Center provides the resources needed for students to find an internship, such as seminars and events and one-on-one career advising.
Newhouse in NYC: The Newhouse School operates a satellite campus program in New York City that allows students to pursue professional internships, specialized course work and regular interactions with industry leaders.
Syracuse University in Los Angeles (SULA): Syracuse University joins our West Coast “community of experts” with the SULA semester, offering students a once-in-lifetime opportunity to learn the entertainment business from the inside.
The Career Development Center offers industry guides for every major, giving Newhouse students all the information they need to excel in their chosen field.
