Narratio Fellows Summer Digital Storytelling Workshops, July 2022 CODE^SHIFT RAs – Maleeha Bhadki and Wendy Wang served as artists-in-residence to co-facilitate digital storytelling workshops on photography and poetry with ten resettled refugee youth artists from the Syracuse area. Daily workshops from 1-4 p.m. in July 2022.

Social Justice Informatics Workshop, August 2022 Co-hosted a day-long hybrid workshop on social justice informatics with Dr. Jasmina Tacheva from the iSchool at Syracuse University. The audience included social scientists, activists and data scientists. Keynote by J. Khadijah Abdurahman (Founder, We Be Imagining), panel discussions by scholar-activists and networking lunch.
Public Talk on Gender, Caste and Digital Space, September 2022 Co-hosted a public talk by Pooja Pande and Priya Thuvassery of Chambal Media, home to Khabar Lahariya, India’s largest feminist rural media network
Central NY Humanities Corridor Writing Retreat, September 2022 Designed and hosted a 3-day writing retreat for selected graduate students and faculty from Cornell University and Syracuse University in the Finger Lakes region.

The symposium focused on relationship-building and grant writing.
