Madelyn Geyer

Madelyn joined the communications team in September 2022. She manages the Newhouse Student News Team as well as web and print content, making sure everything is up-to-date and accurate. Working closely with the director of communications, Madelyn helps with finding, writing, editing and publishing Newhouse news and stories. She also assists with organizing announcements and photographers for events.

Madelyn graduated from the Newhouse School with a master's degree in arts journalism and communications, and finds that the skills she learned come in handy every day in her current role.

Before Newhouse, she graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in film studies and a certificate in public and professional writing. She previously worked for CI Squared, LLC in Philadelphia, PA and Stitch Fix in Austin, TX.
