Janet Anthony

Janet Anthony has been a member of the Syracuse University staff since 1994. As the career development coordinator for the Goldring Arts Journalism Program, she works in conjunction with Newhouse's Career Development Center to provide Goldring students with individual assistance to ensure success in this unique field.

Janet works to secure successful internship opportunities for students, keeps students informed of arts journalism jobs and freelance opportunities and provides career development training and support.

Janet was previously a grants specialist in SU's Office of Sponsored Programs, where she assisted SU faculty with locating funding for their research or scholarship. Before coming to SU, Janet worked for Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation (now National Grid) and as an aerobics dance instructor.
