Dan Gurzynski is the engineer for WAER. He monitors the technical operation of the studio and transmitter site on Day Hall to ensure proper operation. He also participates in training students in the operation of station equipment on the air with Kevin Kloss.
Originally from Buffalo, Dan has been working in broadcast engineering for over 30 years doing maintenance, repair, production and even field recording for concerts that were carried by NPR. Dan has worked for Price Communications, Taft Broadcasting, Entercom Communications and Western NY Public Broadcasting among other groups. He is a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers and has held several certifications thru the SBE.
