Charlie Miller

Charlie Miller has taught news writing and reporting to undergraduates since 1997. During the summer, he teaches the intensive six-week news writing class for graduate students known as Boot Camp.

He also works at The Post-Standard newspaper and its website, Syracuse.com. Hired in 1987 as an intern in the features department, Miller moved into news reporting, sports editing and, in 2004, was promoted to assistant managing editor for sports. He went on to lead the company’s exploration of emerging social media. He now leads the Syracuse Media Group’s business and high school sports coverage.

He is a graduate of the Newhouse School.
