Bio:
Benjamin Tetteh, a former a broadcast journalist from Ghana, is a doctoral student at Newhouse. With extensive reporting experience across the African continent, he worked for various media including the Joy News (Ghana), West Africa Democracy Radio (Senegal), the BBC and the UN News magazine.
He is specialized in long-form radio storytelling and has produced award-winning documentaries and features on issues ranging from business and climate change to health.
Benjamin holds a master’s degree in Journalism (Digital Innovation) from New York University, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology, from the University of Ghana. He was a Journalism Fellow at the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus, Denmark. In 2019, he was elected to the board of the Foreign Correspondents Association, USA.
