Adriana Mucedola

Adriana Mucedola

Adriana Mucedola is a doctoral student at the Newhouse School. She holds a bachelor of arts in broadcasting and mass communication from SUNY Oswego, and a master of arts in media studies from Syracuse University. Her research interests fall under the umbrella of health communication. She studies portrayals of reproductive health and gendered stigma in sexual media and advertisements, and examines the effects of these portrayals on perceptions of the self and others using quantitative methods such as experimental design and survey research.
