Zoe Selesi became captivated by the possibilities of journalism while she was still in high school. Now, the magazine, news and digital journalism major says her time at the Newhouse School has helped her gain confidence and develop skills that she puts to work outside the classroom. She serves as the web editor for Renegade, a student-run general interest magazine focused on the Black community at Syracuse, and has launched her own podcast. She also found mentorship with alumna Kelsey Davis ’19, G’20, working as a writer for Davis’ startup, CLLCTVE.
“I’ve been able to participate in so many different ways, and that has really helped me get a sense of the kind of work I love to do.”
