Thompson comments on 'Friends' and 90s nostalgia in CBC Radio interview

Robert Thompson, trustee professor and director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture, was interviewed by CBC Radio for the story “Friends TV series may not have aged well but it’s still popular due to ‘nostalgia boom.’

"The '90s was kind of the last pure decade of stuff that we all watched at the same time, and everybody knew about it. That's why I think '90s nostalgia has a certain value to it," Thompson said.
