Reed to participate in dialogue about the opioid crisis

February 19, 2019

Cheryl Reed, assistant professor of magazine, news and digital journalism at the Newhouse School, will be joined by former heroin addict Jordan Eubanks, now a lead peer at Helio Health, for a frank discussion about the real stories behind the headlines of the opioid crisis. Reed will read portions of her novel, “Poison Girls,” about girls secretly using opioids.

The event will be held Sunday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. at the Soule Library, 101 Springfield Road, Syracuse.
