Holmes and Farukhi present papers at University Film and Video Association conference.

Shaina Holmes and Imraan Farukhi, assistant professors of television, radio and film, presented two papers at UFVA, the 73rd Conference of the University Film and Video Association. The first paper, “Disorganized: Finding Fair Labor for VFX Artists” advocates for change to create equality in Visual Effects industry practices. The second, “Visual Sampling: The Practice, Liability, and Ethics of VFX Composites” raises awareness to Visual Effects and Animation styles that require legal and ethical attention.
