Four-time Emmy Award winner Joel Mandelbaum ’87 has worked at MSG Networks since 1991, holding numerous television production positions. His work includes over 2,000 live productions in professional basketball, baseball, football, hockey, tennis and soccer. 

Mandelbaum has produced and directed live shows, long form programs, features and segments. He also served as the director of event presentation at Madison Square Garden’s in-arena “Live Events” for nine years.

From 2010 to 2017, Mandelbaum worked as a director and associate director on studio pre-game and post-game broadcasts of New York Rangers hockey and New York Knicks basketball. He’s been the television broadcast director for New York Islanders hockey since 2017.
