The Newhouse Career Development Center offers a host of recruiting assistance services for communications employers.

Remote recruiting

Distribute your company‚Äôs open jobs or internships to Newhouse students and alumni through the CDC. Internship opportunities are listed in our email newsletters for students. To submit an opening, click the button below. This service is free to employers.

Campus visits

The CDC welcomes employers to campus virtually to meet and interact with students. You may hold company information sessions or conduct student interviews. You may also be able to make a class presentation. We can work with your schedule. Campus visits are free. You can contact us at nhcdc@syr.edu

Business and Communications Career Fair

Each fall, the Newhouse School partners with the Martin J. Whitman School of Management to welcome leaders in the business and communications industry looking for potential interns and entry-level talent. The Business and Communications Career Fair allows employers to meet hundreds of students, not only from Newhouse and Whitman but also from across campus!

Newhouse Communications Recruitment Days

Each spring, the Newhouse School welcomes professionals from top-notch communications companies to look for entry-level talent. The Communications Recruitment Days allow employers to meet students who have a communications focus. Employers can engage with students during the Career Fair on the first day and in one-on-one interviews the following day. Employers are welcome to attend one or both days.
