Kelly Lux

Kelly Lux joined the Newhouse School in early 2015 and helped launch the online M.S. in communications program. In 2019, she created Social Media for Communicators, which is a required course for the online master’s program. She continues to teach the class as an adjunct professor. In her role as associate director, Kelly is responsible for academic advising, scheduling and a variety of program operations.

Prior to joining Newhouse, Kelly worked at Syracuse University’s School of Information Studies from 2010 to 2015 as the director of social media and taught several courses in social media and content management.

First joining Syracuse University in 2007, she previously managed the Mentor@SU program at the University's Career Services and served as executive assistant to the AVP of Syracuse University Student Affairs.
