Evin wanted to make his mom proud. He and Jessica also wanted to help kids in their old neighborhood realize they could lift themselves up via a career in information technology. While still in college, they started Brooklyn On Tech to show this path to high school students. That grew into NewYork On Tech and that expanded further to America On Tech. Today they are both Forbes 30 under 30 honorees and yes, mom is proud.

Evin Robinson and Jessica Santana are co-founders of the nonprofit organization America On Tech (AOT). AOT’s goal is to decrease the economic and racial wealth gap for underrepresented students by creating equitable pathways into degrees and/or careers in technology. AOT’s work has been featured in various media outlets such as Forbes, CNN, Wells Fargo, BET and The Huffington Post. 

Evin Robinson is a co-founder and the president of AOT. Prior to starting the company, he was a technology consultant for Accenture. He was featured on Forbes’ 30 under 30 in 2017, where he is now a member of the Board of Directors, serving as a Northeast Impact Chair. Robinson is also a founding member of Forbes Forums. He has been recognized as a Wells Fargo Millennial Activist, LinkedIn Millennial Influencer, Kauffman Entrepreneurship Engagement Fellow and more.

In 2012, he graduated from Syracuse University with a B.A. in economics and B.S. in communication rhetorical studies. He then earned an M.S. in information management and technology in 2014 from the School of Information Studies.

Jessica Santana is a co-founder and the CEO of AOT. She has also launched several other brands including Social Good School and Innovators and Disruptors. Prior to AOT, Santana worked as a technology consultant in the private sector for global brands such as JPMorgan, Chase, Accenture and Deloitte. She was honored on Forbes’ 30 under 30 list, named a Causeartists’ Social Entrepreneur to Watch in 2020 and has earned many other awards, fellowships and recognitions. 

Besides running AOT, Santana is an experienced public speaker, speaking at SXSW EDU, Google for Entrepreneurs, The White House and more. Santana attended Syracuse University where she graduated with undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting and information technology.
