Each fall, Newhouse holds an informal Communications Career Fair where companies and students can connect. Though mostly regional and local companies participate, some national companies also attend to recruit candidates for internships and prospect for future openings. See the Fall Career Fair page for more information and to register, or contact assistant director Bridget Lichtinger. Career Fair is complimentary for employers.

Newhouse Recruitment Collective

Each spring, the Newhouse School welcomes professionals from top-notch communications companies to campus to look for entry-level talent. The Recruitment Collective kicks off with a complimentary, no charge career fair during which employers can meet hundreds of students about job and internship opportunities! The following day is optional and devoted to employers conducting on-campus interviews of the students they met at the Career Fair.

If your company is interested in learning more about the Newhouse Recruitment Collective and why it is a must attend event, reach out to Bridget Lichtinger, assistant director at belichti@syr.edu.
