How to Schedule Your Newhouse Visit
Come visit us in person for daily tours and information sessions. We can’t wait to tell you more about our undergraduate programs, extracurricular opportunities and student life. Schedule your visit with us through the Syracuse University campus visits page. If you want a more in-depth experience, come for one of our Orange Preview days.
We’d love it if you tell us in advance, but we take drop-ins too. We’re happy to show you around! You can contact the Newhouse Visitors Center at 315-443-4493 or email us.
The Visitors Center is in the lobby of the Newhouse 1 building. Weekday tours are at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday tours are at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
The Newhouse Tour
The three-building Newhouse complex has over 250,000 square feet of space! While we won’t be able to show you everything, we will certainly give you the highlights. The tour features visits to classrooms, computer labs, collaboration spaces, community areas, and our state-of-the-art studios.
Newhouse Ambassadors
A Newhouse Student Ambassador will guide you on your tour. Feel free to ask our Ambassadors any questions about their experiences at Newhouse and Syracuse University. Our Ambassadors represent a diverse student population.
They know the ins and outs of the dining halls and living on and off campus. Most Ambassadors are members of student groups and media organizations. In addition to showing you the Newhouse complex, they are here to answer your questions honestly and authentically from their perspective.
