Undergraduate Applicants

While you acquire skill in visual storytelling, writing, research, collaboration and presentation at the Newhouse School, you also explore fields in the liberal arts and sciences and can engage in a minor outside of communications.

You can also pursue dual enrollment with another school or college at Syracuse University: the College of Arts and Sciences, the Whitman School of Management or the School of Information Studies.

Syracuse University was #1 on Cosmopolitan magazine’s list of the 50 most beautiful college campuses in July 2020.

You may come to Newhouse to learn communications, but you’ll leave broadly educated, tested through professional experiences and supported by the actively engaged network of Newhouse alumni.
