Drew Carter ’19, a play-by-play announcer and studio host for ESPN and NBC Sports Boston, won the Jim Nantz Award as the nation’s most outstanding collegiate sportscaster in 2019. He says he got his start in play-by-play through years of coaching from a Newhouse alum.
