Students in our multidisciplinary program take classes in both the Newhouse School and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. This one-and-a-half year, 43-credit program leads to a master of arts degree in public diplomacy and global communications.

You begin your studies with an early July introductory seminar. The following summer, you complete an off-campus experience in Washington, D.C.; Geneva, Switzerland; Vienna, Austria; or Strasbourg, France. Your studies will conclude with a fall internship and seminar semester in Washington, D.C.

See the 2020-2021 public diplomacy and global communications master's program course list for more information.
