John Clemons • Director, Global Employee Communications • Newell Brands

John Clemons has held senior executive and consultant roles over the course of his career in corporate and organizational communications. He has special expertise providing strategic counsel and support for top executives and corporate offices of Fortune 500 companies. He was chair of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and holds accreditations from both IABC and the Public Relations Society of America.

Debbie Mason • CEO • Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County

Debbie Mason joined the Healthcare Foundation as CEO in August 2016. Her experience includes serving as a nonprofit CEO, as a marketing and communications executive leader in healthcare and auotmotive sectors and as a consultant in the areas of communications, development, organizational development, strategic planning and board governance.

Key Achievements

  • Won a Silver Anvil for coordinating and writing the first foster care privatization plan for Broward County, Florida
  • Lead the corporate business and public relations strategic response to the largest chemical spill in Florida, resulting in no lawsuits
  • Created, built and sold one of Florida’s largest independent public relations agencies
  • Served as a board member of the national PRSA Board and as President of the PRSA Foundation


"Initially, I was thinking the program could be done remotely without the in person experience but I came to realize I was wrong because the beauty of this program is meeting the fabulous colleagues and professors, building relationships and learning from one another as well as from the professors. I was in my late 40s when I did this program as a gift to myself to continue my learning and growth in our profession - and indeed the investment was among the best gifts I’ve ever had. Travis Parman • Vice President, International Communications • Groupe Renault

Travis Parman has earned his stripes—nationally and internationally—across a number of industries in the corporate communications world. His more than 20-year career includes local, regional and national campaigns for companies in aerospace, defense and government, automotive, consumer banking, home building and healthcare.

Currently, he oversees the global communications teams at Renault in the Asia-Pacific, Eurasia, Europe, Africa-Middle, East-India and Americas regions. He joined Renault on a foreign-service assignment from sister company Nissan. The bulk of Parman’s career has been spent in the automotive industry with General Motors, where he ultimately led the Northeast Region PR office in Manhattan and supported the company’s bankruptcy crisis communications.

James Patry

James Patry G'13

James Patry has worked in marketing and public relations for almost two decades, and has been expanding his role within his current job since getting his communications management degree with Newhouse. With both an undergraduate and graduate degree from Newhouse, he sees limitless potential in his future.

Eliot Mizrachi is a top-tier communications professional, holding high-level communications positions with the New Jersey Office of the Governor, the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) and the Arther W. Page Society.

Key achievements

  • Served in the New Jersey Office of the Governor and as Communicatiosn Officer for the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities 
  • Nine years leading communications for the ESRB, the self-regulatory body for the video game industry
  • Helped lead communications related to a 2009 U.S. Supreme Court case addressing video game regulation


"I joined the program as a way to make an investment in myself and my future as a professional communicator. That investment has paid off in a much bigger way than I expected. The academic curriculum expanded my knowledge about the history and theory behind our craft, and helped prepare me to be a far more effective communications strategist. While at the time I assumed that the PR theory would be valuable but not necessarily applicable to practice, I've been fortunate to find a position that allows me to continue exploring the nature and evolution of organizational communications with the Page Society. At the same time, the ability to belong to a cohort, share experiences with them in the residencies and build relationships over our two years together has been the most enduring benefit. Stacey Hajdak • Director of Marketing and Communications • Aqua America

Stacey Hajdak is a former commissioned officer in the United States Army Reserve, and is currently responsible for planning and executing the communications strategy for Aqua America, one of the largest U.S.-based, publicly traded water utilities. 

Key achievements

  • Served as a company commander of an Army unit during Operation Iraqi Freedom
  • Completed her communications management degree while working full time and having a family
