    This is the official international headquarters site in Rhode Island. It includes information from the annual competition including a searchable database of recent winners. If you want more information about SND or want to joint this one-if-a-kind organization this is the place to go. You can also buy books and slides online, look up membership information, sign up for a workshop or view the job bank. It will link you to SND's international and student affiliates as well as other helpful sites.

    The Poynter Institute for Media Studies in St. Petersburg, Fla. has a design / graphics section on its site with a wealth of information about design, color use, day-to-day design news and opinions and this is just the beginning of the coverage which is updated daily. It also covers writing / editing, photojournalism, TV / radio, diversity & ethics issues and has helpful tips in the design, print and electronic media areas, to mention just a few. Dozens of seminars are offered each year with registration requirements and forms on this site. Some seminars are free to educators and students!
