25th Edition categories to be announced in Call for Entries
The number and names of the categories and sub-categories for The Best of Newspaper Design™ Creative Competition, 25th Edition, will be listed in the 25th Edition Call for Entires that will be mailed to publications in November. The information will also be placed on SND's Web site at www.snd.org.
The 21 categories are:
Category 1: World's Best-Designed Newspapers™
Category 2: News Design / Sections
Category 3: News Design / Pages
Category 4: Breaking News Topics
Category 5: Special News Topics
Category 6: Feature Design / Sections
Category 7: Feature Design / Pages
Category 8: Portfolio / Page Designers
Category 9: Special Coverage / Single Subject
Category 10: Special Coverage / Sections
Category 11: Reprints
Category 12: Magazines / Overall Design
Category 13: Magazines / Special Sections
Category 14: Magazines / Cover Design
Category 15: Magazines / Page Design
Category 16: Illustration
Category 17: Photography
Category 18: Information Graphics
Category 19: Information Graphics / Portfolios
Category 20: Redesigns
Category 21: Miscellaneous (for elements not included in other categories)
Many of the above categories have sub-categories to break up the subjects by topic and / or publication circulations.
