The Photography major falls under the umbrella of Visual & Interactive Communications, which brings together the innovative and computer-savvy fields of graphic arts, interactive communications, and illustration photography with the rich tradition of Newhouse School photojournalism. In the V&IC department students choose one of three majors: photojournalism, illustration photography or graphic arts. Each requires portfolio to be submitted at the end of six credits of photography and graphic arts coursework.
