This is home movie film, shot by Syracuse resident Don Waful, of the dedication of Newhouse I, the first building in the Newhouse Communications Complex. The year was 1964 and keynote speaker was President Lyndon B. Johnson. Johnson used the occasion to deliver the famous Gulf of Tonkin speech, which signaled the United States' deepening involvement in Vietnam. link to video
