Graduate student in photography Zachary Krahmer was one of ten students awarded the first-ever Nikon Storytellers Scholarship, granting him $10,000 toward his education at the Newhouse School.

"It’s an honor and I’m very grateful to Nikon for supporting my education," said Krahmer. "Both Newhouse and Maxwell provide students with opportunities to apply themselves and grow. This next year will be jam packed full of new collaborations and projects and I can’t wait. At the end of the day, I hope my work can inspire others to be more engaged with their own community and the greater world."

"The Nikon Storytellers Scholarship recognizes students that are making advances in creative content production, in celebration of the next generation of visual storytellers," said Alison Nolte, associate account executive with Nikon. "Scholarship entries opened in December, and Zachary’s stellar academic performance and creative portfolio submission stood out to a panel of esteemed judges, consisting of industry professionals, creatives and Nikon Ambassadors."
