Mike Davis, an adjunct in Newhouse’s multimedia photography and design department, will present “The Presidents’ Photographers” on Tuesday, January 22 at 7 p.m. in Room 102 Newhouse 1. The opening reception for the Pictures of the Year International (POYi) show “The Presidential Image” will follow.

Davis served as deputy director of photography for the White House Photography Office during the George W. Bush Administration. He will show and discuss photos from the history of White House photography, examining the people who have the best access to photograph U.S. presidents.

“The Presidential Image,” a gallery show on loan from POYi, provides an unprecedented visual history, chronicling presidential life from the Franklin Roosevelt Administration through present day.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Doug Wonders at 315-443-1600 or
