The music industry has evolved dramatically in recent years, from a physical distribution business model to one of services and digital revenue. How has that changed the way the music industry keeps score? To answer that question (and many more), we will be joined by Billboard editorial director Jason Lipshutz and the head of charts and data Silvio Pietroluongo. These are two of the key decision makers at Billboard, which itself has expanded from being the historic, print magazine “industry bible” to one of the premier online destinations for music fans (Billboard.com), a top-rated awards show on ABC, a popular festival (The Hot 100 Festival), and much more.
