The Central New York Communications Consortium is co-sponsored by five of New York's most competitive communications programs. Held annually at Syracuse University, hundreds of students participate in this three day event, as well as many of the top companies in the field of communications. This program provides students with the opportunity to interview for entry-level jobs and internships with large and small firms in the communications industry. It provides employers with a comfortable, cost effective setting in which to interview a large number of students from top communications programs.

The communications industry is not a recruitment-driven industry, which means job hunters must be self-directed and utilize networking contacts to uncover job opportunities. The Newhouse CDC provides students and alumni with the essential skills and resources to conduct a proactive job or internship search.
The CDC maintains its own schedule of events, seminars and resources. We also work in conjunction with SU's Center for Career Services to facilitate on-campus recruiting events. Click here to learn more about CCS.
The CDC is a member of SU's Career Services Network.
