The communications industry is not a recruitment-driven industry which means job hunters must be self-directed and utilize networking contacts to uncover job opportunities. The Newhouse CDC provides students with the essential skills and resources to conduct a proactive job or internship search.

The CDC maintains its own schedule of events, seminars and resources, but works with the Center for Career Services at Schine Student Center in on-campus recruiting.
