Newhouse Recruitment Collective
April 12 to 14, 2017 - Syracuse University campus
Each April, the Newhouse School welcomes professionals from top-notch communications companies to campus to look for entry-level talent.
The Recruitment Collective kicks off with a career fair on April 12 from 2-5 pm, during which students can meet representatives from industry-leading organizations to speak about job and internship opportunities in the communications field. On average we have 350-400 students attend the career fair. The following two days (April 13 & 14) are devoted to on-campus interviews.
Students will start to receive information about the event and participating companies at the start of the spring semester through the Newhouse Career Development Center’s weekly emails, CDCNews and CDCGradNews, but they are always welcome to stop into the office to ask questions.
We made sure to make the Recruitment Collective budget friendly. Recruiters can participate in one, two or all three days. The event is flexible to fit the time and budget needs of employers.
Career Fair & Employer Reception (covers up to 3 representatives): $150 (covers one 6 ft. table and career fair & dinner for up to 3 people)
Interview Day on April 13th: $100 per recruiter interviewing (covers breakfast, lunch and booth space)
Interview Day on April 14th: $100 per recruiter interviewing (covers breakfast, lunch and booth space)
