Frank Currier worked in broadcast news for 30 years. After a tour of duty with the U.S. Army Vietnam as a reporter for AFVN Radio Saigon, he worked throughout the 1970s as a reporter-anchor-producer and magazine show host at KUSA-TV in Denver. After three years reporting and anchoring news at WBBM-TV -- the CBS O&O in Chicago -- he joined the network in 1982 and was assigned to the Midwest bureau as a Chicago-based correspondent for CBS News. During the next 17 years, he reported Eye on America segments, and domestic/international hard news stories for the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather.
