Jim Morris '78

Jim Morris '78 is a Producer/Production Executive for the Pixar Animation Studios. He is the Producer of Andrew Stanton's, the creator and director of “Finding Nemo,” next film, scheduled for a Summer '08 release.

Prior to his move to Pixar, Morris worked for Lucasfilm and a number of its divisions for 17 years. He served as President of Lucas Digital Ltd. for 11 years, where he was responsible for the corporate entity and its two units, Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) and Skywalker Sound. He was also ILM's General Manager, During his tenure, ILM created the Academy Award-winning visual effects seen in “Jurassic Park,” “Death Becomes Her” and “Forrest Gump.”

Morris was Executive Producer at Arnold & Associates, where he produced national commercials for clients such as Atari and Chevron, and oversaw the company's three offices. He has also worked as a producer-director for PBS. He launched his career as a cameraman and editor at the NBC affiliate in Syracuse, NY.
