Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Amy Falkner oversees the curriculum and academic resources of the Newhouse School. She works with Newhouse department chairs, program directors and faculty members to develop courses, schedule classrooms and provide technology.

Associate Dean of Creative and Scholarly Activity Carla Lloyd is tasked with raising the visibility of Newhouse's research and creative projects. Additionally, she is planning for activities in the new I-3 Research Center in Newhouse III. Lloyd also oversees Newhouse's assessment of its programs and monitors compliance with accreditation standards.

Associate Dean for Professional Graduate Studies Joel Kaplan is responsible for the recruitment, admission and enrollment of the School's 10 master's degree resident programs. All merit-based financial aid is administered by his office. Those awards include fellowships, scholarships and teaching or graduate assistantships. He also oversees the Graduate Records Office.

Associate Dean for Student Affairs Rosanna Grassi works with undergraduate students as they progress toward their degree. She oversees the Undergraduate Records Office and coordinates the Peer Advisor Program and COM 100 course for new students.
