Applications for the fall semester should be postmarked or submitted electronically by Jan. 1. However, we will continue to consider applications after Jan. 1 on a space-available basis.
As an Early Decision candidate, you agree to enroll at Syracuse University if admitted to your preferred college. You may apply to other colleges and universities through regular decision with the understanding that you will withdraw these applications if admitted to Syracuse University. Early Decision candidates typically receive admissions notifications prior to Jan. 1.
Most applicants to Syracuse University apply for a Regular Decision. Applications for the fall semester should be postmarked or submitted electronically by Jan. 1. Applications postmarked after Jan. 1 are considered only as space remains.
Notification of admission
Students who fulfill all admissions requirements by required deadlines are more likely to be notified of an admission decision in late March.
