You may choose to follow one of two professionally oriented photography sequences: illustration photography or photojournalism. Photojournalism is designed for students interested in creating newspaper, magazine and multimedia journalism images. The sequence in illustration photography covers the areas of advertising, commercial, fashion and magazine illustration photography for print and the Web.
In each sequence, you must submit a multimedia and print portfolio after completing six photography credits (GRA 217 and PHO 301), and a final portfolio is due at the end of your senior year.
