The Newhouse School is administered under the leadership of Dean Lorraine Branham. The dean oversees several offices that serve to assist prospective and current students, faculty and staff and alumni and friends of the school. Click on the headings below for a list of staff members in each office.
The Office of the Dean is the gateway to the school.
The Office of Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions guides prospective undergraduate students and their families through the process of applying for admission to the Newhouse School.
The Office of Professional Graduate Studies guides prospective graduate students through the process of applying for graduate study at Newhouse, and assists them with the academic experience once they enroll in the school.
The Career Development Center provides career guidance and support to current students and alumni. The office also runs and manages the Newhouse Network, the school's alumni database.
The Office of Student Affairs assists current undergraduate students with all aspects of the academic experience at Newhouse.
The Office of Academic Affairs oversees all aspects of the academic operation at Newhouse.
The Office of Research, Creativity, International Initiatives and Diversity helps advance the scholarly and creative agenda of Newhouse faculty, strengthen diversity in the curriculum and among the faculty and increase international engagement.
The Office of Advancement builds relationships with alumni, friends and industry professionals who support the school’s mission. This office administers the annual Mirror Awards competition and ceremony as well as other major external events.
The Office of Communications is responsible for all communications for the Newhouse School, including media relations, the website, the magazine, social media and special events publicity.
The Budget Office oversees the school’s financial affairs.
The Information Technology Group supports the technology needs of the Newhouse School.
