If you're planning on earning a master's degree at Newhouse, you have ten professional degree programs to choose from. Most begin in summer. Photography can begin in summer, fall or spring.
Students complete most programs in one calendar year, or 12-14 months. Photography students spend about 18 months on courses and a special project.
Our graduate students typically start classes the first week of July. The year begins with a six-week session and continues during our fall (late August to mid-December) and spring (mid-January to early May) semesters. Most programs finish the following summer with a capstone project or internship.
If you're applying, you need to do so by February 1st of the year in which you'll be studying. Applications received after that date are reviewed on a space-available basis.
