- The Center for Digital Literacy
This is a collaborative effort among the Newhouse School and the schools of Information Studies and Education at Syracuse University. It supports research and development projects related to understanding the impact of information, technology and media literacies on children and adults in today's technology intensive society. - The Center for the Study of Popular Television
The Center's director, Robert Thompson, is a nationally-recognized expert in the history of prime time television and an astute chronicler of television's impact. The Center brings guests to campus, edits a series of books on television, and maintains a large archive of unique television-related materials. Interested students may take a television criticism course with Professor Thompson. - The Daily Orange

Provides programming for, by, and about Syracuse University and is coordinated through the Newhouse School but is open to any SU student. - Sports Schedules

The Newhouse School houses the official student affiliate for the Society for News Design and is recognized by the SND national headquarters in North Kingstown, R.I. as SU's official student affiliate. - SU Chapter of Society of Professional Journalists
Student chapter of an organization that focuses on ethical, legal, and coverage issues in journalism. - TRAC
The Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse uses the computer and the Freedom of Information Act to assess how various agencies of the federal government do business. TRAC has received wide publicity for its pioneering work in exposing the workings of the Justice Department and the Internal Revenue Service. Its web site is a rich source of data to reporters around the world. Interested students may take a course in computer-assisted investigative reporting. - WAER
NPR affiliate station with a jazz format. Housed on campus and offers student internships.
