Media Studies (M.A.)

Our media studies program is ideal for students with mass media experience who want to critically examine the mass communications process. It's also an excellent foundation for the doctoral degree.

Through examination of contemporary media events, you will assess the media's relationship with the world and how the two affect each other. Research opportunities abound in the program. You can take on a research assistantship and present your research at national conventions. The program provides valuable flexibility, allowing you to pursue your individual academic interests.
