
Originally from Central New York, Kelly Brown graduated from Newhouse with a B.S. in public relations. Following graduation, she moved to Boston for three years, where she worked as an editorial associate and account executive for a downtown medical education company. Prior to joining the Career Development Center as its assistant director, Kelly returned to Syracuse to serve as the public relations manager for the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra.
Bridget Lichtinger, Assistant DirectorBridget Lichtinger (affectionately known as "Budgie") joined Newhouse in 1999. Prior to becoming the Career Development Center's coordinator, she was the special events coordinator for Newhouse. In addition to assisting students and overseeing all CDC resources, Budgie serves as liaison between Newhouse alumni and the CDC and plans special events including the annual spring CNY Communications Consortium, Career Day for freshmen and guest speakers. In her free time, Budgie enjoys competitive running, letterboxing and caring for her five rescued greyhounds.
Judith Fajardo, Office ManagerJudith manages the daily operations for the Career Development Center with the help of the leadership team including her CDC Specialists. She received her B.S. in Advertising from Newhouse where she earned a student ADDY for logo design and served as Creative Director on the winning campaign for her program's capstone competition. She brings her background in student affairs from Syracuse University and John Hopkins University along with her sales and recruiting experience from Time Warner Cable. After serving in such capacities, Judith realized her passion for helping students discover new careers while developing skills to succeed personally and professionally. She enjoys any opportunity to share her insight and advice. Beyond work, Judith loves to spend time with family and friends, shop, try new foods (especially while traveling), and comedy. She grew up near Orlando, Florida, lived in Madrid, Spain, and is now glad to call Syracuse, New York home.
