Photography
In addition to multimedia and traditional photography courses, you might choose to take classes in graphic arts, writing, advertising and interactive communications. As your skills develop, a required master's project or thesis rounds out your expertise and your portfolio as you head back into the industry.
Prerequisites All students admitted to the program must have backgrounds in communications- style photography. A portfolio is required and should be sent separately to Professor Anthony Golden, Chair, Visual and Interactive Communications Department, Newhouse School, 215 University Place, Syracuse NY 13244. Images should be presented on a CD/DVD in jpeg or Photoshop format at 10” x 100 dpi.
